- You will be manager in a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of a country, category, Supply Chain or FPA
- You will support the Senior Manager or Director in data collection to prepare business proposals, verify assumptions, check daily execution and support delivery of overall objectives and ensure the integrity and timeliness of reporting
- You may also have a direct report or manage third party providers resources
How you will contribute
You will:
- Manage and execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Strategic Plan and Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondel z International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will own data collection and verify data integrity
- Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
- Help the senior manager and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that enable perspectives for business strategies and decisions
- Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
- Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local FPA pipeline

More about this role
Basic Responsibilities:
- To work with Procurement Finance lead on reporting, controlling and forecasting for Raw and Pack spends for a specific BU with multiple manufacturing plants. It involves understanding dynamics and spends of various commodities, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for variances and productivity reporting for all the manufacturing sites in the BU.
- This finance role sits in the AMEA centre of excellence for Procurement Finance supporting the ISC finance and procurement team for reporting cycles, ensuring tracking spends and price variances, key performance tracking, internal controls and ensuring adherence to all Mondelez policies, procedures and standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the finance agenda in the direct material procurement (annual spend of $0.4B) spread across countries / manufacturing locations by partnering and influencing the Procurement team to ensure the delivery of financial goals.
- Work with global commodity risk management team to drive strategy execution of coverage of key commodity spends and choice of right instruments (futures/ options/ other derivative instruments)
- Development of standard decision support tools and development of analysis of spends by category, country and tower to create management insights around current performance / trends to drive business improvement.
- Approval and governance of direct materials productivity projects of the region ($16MM in savings p.a), including financial validation and system updates.
- Analysis and monitoring of productivity effectiveness by review of the productivity tracker and PPV results
- Commodity accounting, sensitivity analysis, flagging of issues, providing impacts to category PL/overall business and potential action plans to procurement tower leads, Area ISC controllers of relevant geographies, category finance and ISC Finance COE
- Development of analysis of spends to create management insights around current performance / trends to drive business improvement
- Management of the month end process for Procurement, reviewing final result and performance vs forecast
- Accountable for all raw material standards, info records, export and import price lists, outline agreements
- Running SAP and FiT reports and analyzing the commodity and forex impacts vs plan
- Build a robust forecasting process and support building a strong annual contracts .
Experience and Skills required:
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the finance function of a MNC.
- Preference for Supply Chain finance or any business role
- Understanding of the consumer goods industry
- Technical / Work-based Skills :
- Knowledge of SAP is desirable or at least a working knowledge of a similar type of ERP system.
- Proficient analytical skills
- Understanding of Profit and Loss, balance sheet management and cash flow analysis
- Advanced Excel and basic PowerPoint skills
