Job Title: Telecaller

Job Description:

As a Telecaller, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers or clients with the objective of generating leads, setting appointments, or selling products or services. Your primary role will involve engaging with prospects over the phone to pitch offerings, address inquiries, and build relationships. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this role:

  1. Making outbound calls to a targeted list of individuals or businesses using provided scripts or talking points.
  2. Introducing company products or services to potential customers and highlighting their features and benefits.
  3. Understanding customer needs, interests, and pain points through effective questioning and active listening.
  4. Providing accurate information about products or services, pricing, promotions, and any relevant terms or conditions.
  5. Persuading prospects to take desired actions, such as scheduling appointments, attending demonstrations, or making purchases.
  6. Overcoming objections and handling rejections professionally and courteously.
  7. Recording and maintaining detailed records of calls, including contact information, conversation notes, and outcomes, in the CRM system or database.
  8. Following up with leads or prospects who have expressed interest but not yet taken action.
  9. Collaborating with sales or marketing teams to coordinate follow-up activities and ensure seamless communication and handover of qualified leads.
  10. Adhering to call scripts, compliance guidelines, and company policies and procedures at all times.
  11. Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  12. Participating in training sessions or ongoing learning opportunities to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and performance.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or communication is a plus.
  2. Proven experience as a telecaller, telemarketer, or sales representative, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear and pleasant telephone manner.
  4. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospects over the phone.
  5. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to handle objections and rejections positively.
  6. Good listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs and preferences.
  7. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM software or databases for call logging and tracking.
  8. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving outcomes.
  9. Resilience, persistence, and a positive attitude in the face of challenges or rejection.
  10. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, targets, and procedures in a dynamic work environment.
