Host4Geeks is looking for an experienced, driven and professional support engineer to provide Level I & Level II support to our customers.
- This is a full-time on-site position (outsourcing agencies and remote staff not needed).
- You must be willing to move to Pune and work from our office in Pune.
You will be responsible for replying to customer tickets and questions over the helpdesk, emails, and at times phone and provide support to Host4Geeks' product line up consisting of cPanel Hosting, Managed VPS, Dedicated Servers, WordPress Hosting, Private Cloud Deployments, and SSL Services.
Additional responsibilities will include monitoring, managing, and automating our infrastructure along with system administration tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain a wide variety of Linux/Window systems
- Troubleshooting IPv4/IPv6, DNS, FTP, NFS, hardware, and connectivity issues
- Communicate with vendors to design and troubleshoot systems handle escalations for the customer and internal issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Monitor hardware, applications, and network status and proactively resolve issues
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems
- Installing and troubleshooting operating systems through remote consoles (IPMI, IDRAC, KVM)
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have experience working in the web hosting industry
- In-depth experience with cPanel
- Ability to troubleshoot website and email problems
- Great communication skills
- Driven to be the best and you have examples to prove it
