Team Context

You will be part of UniOps In-Market Technology team, working as a part of the Digital Marketing / Consumer Experience vertical, partnering 10+ teams to help build, maintain and run the Consumer Data platform across 70+ brands like lakmeindia.com, Tresemme Hair profiler, Kissan AR game, Consumer 360 platform etc.

Overview: As a Web Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the technical architecture of web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of web technologies, software design principles, and the ability to collaborate with multiple SaaS and inhouse development teams to ensure the creation of scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design:

  • Design and implement scalable and sustainable technical architectures for web applications, considering factors such as performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with architectural guidelines and best practices.

Technology Evaluation

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in web development.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of web applications.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during the implementation phase.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Performance Optimization

  • Analyze and optimize the performance of web applications, addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Implement best practices for caching, code splitting, and other optimization techniques.

Security

  • Implement and enforce security best practices for web applications, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and prevention of security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and collaborate with security teams to address any identified issues.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, system administrators, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Documentation

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for technical architectures, design decisions, and best practices.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to development teams regarding architectural principles and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on web applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify, Marketing Automation, CRM and various others
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architectural best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and SaaS product management
  • Knowledge of web security protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with agile methodologies
