- We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Counseling Psychologist to join our mental health team
- The successful candidate will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals dealing with a range of psychological issues
- This position requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting clients on their mental health journey
Responsibilities:
- Individual Counseling:Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients to address and explore their psychological concerns
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the client's needs and goals
- Assessment and Diagnosis:Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and determine appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals for comprehensive assessments
- Therapeutic Interventions:Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help clients cope with and overcome emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Provide support for issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and relationship difficulties
- Group Therapy:Facilitate group therapy sessions to address common themes or concerns among clients
- Create a supportive and therapeutic environment for group participants
- Crisis Intervention:Provide crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress
- Collaborate with emergency services or other relevant professionals as needed
- Client Education:Educate clients on mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care techniques
- Promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma through community outreach
- Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards for record-keeping
- Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings
