As an Accessibility Tester, you will be a trusted, respected, partner that works closely with Design professionals, Design leaders, Product Management and Engineering to support the accessibility testing of our products. You will contribute to a large, global portfolio of productivity applications for Legal, Tax and Corporate professionals. Role Summary
As an Accessibility Tester, your primary responsibility is to conduct Accessibility testing of assigned products and report all defects. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of testing and defect tracking. To be effective in this role, you must have an understanding of accessibility and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), knowledge of assistive technology, automated testing tools, and demonstrated experience in accessibility testing.  You also need a unique skillset of problem solving, strong communication, and working as part of a team.  We promote an agile, collaborative, supportive environment where diverse thinking, innovative design, and experimentation is welcomed and encouraged.

Thomson Reuters participates in the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), which creates the standards for the web, including accessibility standards. The Accessibility team participates in the WCAG working group (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), which is part of the W3C. 
About the Role:
As an Accessibility Tester, you will:
•    Conduct Accessibility testing on assigned products and report all defects pertaining to WCAG violations.
•    Demonstrate testing proficiency and meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
•    Demonstrates clear understanding of accessibility testing.
•    Collaborate and communicate closely with key stakeholders in Design, Product Management, and Product Engineering to facilitate testing efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.
•    Collaborate with the Testing Lead to guarantee on-time completion, precision, and alignment with expectations for all testing requests. 
•    Participate in creating and maintaining process documentation in partnership with subject matter experts.
•    Suggest process improvement ideas, provide feedback on testing tools, applications, and process.
•    Ensure that the Thomson Reuter’s accessibility policy and guidelines are followed.
•    Stay abreast of evolving accessibility standards and trends in the industry. 
•    Continuously develop skills and knowledge in the field of accessibility testing.  
About You:  
You're a fit for the role of Accessibility Tester if you have:
•    BA/BS in information science, information design, computer science, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
•    2+ years of experience in an accessibility related field.
•    Understanding of WCAG 2.1 (AA) guidelines.
•    Good  level understanding of assistive technologies and accessibility-related software including JAWS® and NVDA and automated testing tools.
•    Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar for logging and tracking bugs.
•    Demonstrated success facilitating testing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interfacing with high level stakeholders.
•    Strong ability to influence and be able to effectively deal with ambiguous situations and make decisions.
