Job Overview
We are hiring a Delivery Driver with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Thai Thirunaal Agro Foods PVT LTD. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our meat products to our customers. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a Delivery Driver
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to navigate and use GPS devices
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks, such as lifting heavy boxes
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and recording
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver meat products to customers within the designated delivery area
- Ensure the accuracy of delivery orders and provide excellent customer service
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Handle and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving
- Report any delays, accidents, or equipment issues to the appropriate channels
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery items, as needed
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers
- Collect and process payment from customers, as required
