As a key part of the team, you will play a primary role in supporting vendor contract administration and negotiations at Demyst
You will be responsible for contract management, auditing, and compliance, and serve as an internal resource for vendor contract questions
You will also lead production data procurement negotiations and renewal discussions with vendors and own ongoing vendor reporting requirements
While this is a fully-remote role, successful candidates are expected to be based in Bangalore where Demyst is building its next hub
You will be expected to align your working hours to the US
We will also hold certain workshops and fun activities from time to time that we expect the team to attend
Responsibilities
Support client team by leading production data procurement negotiations and renewal discussions with vendors and serving as a primary point of contact throughout an engagement
Respond to internal queries regarding vendor contract terms
Own ongoing data vendor reporting requirements
Assist the legal team with vendor contract management, auditing, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Support the legal team with a range of vendor administrator activities
Other duties as required
Bachelors degree (or equivalent), with business, management, law, or a related field preferred
5+ years in vendor management, procurement, or contract management
Impeccable attention to detail
Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills
Familiarity with contracts and contract management
Understanding of external data ecosystem, preferably in the context of retail financial services and/or p&c insurance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Operate at the forefront of the external data industry, and work with the largest industry players in an emerging field that is fueling growth and technological advancement globally
