Responsibility

Contributed to financial policy formulation, ensuring alignment with government economic objectives, conducted research on macroeconomic indicators, fiscal policies, and global trends, and coordinated with departments for policy implementation. Lead sustainable finance initiatives in the banking sector, staying updated on global trends and best practices, and integrating them into ASSOCHAM's advocacy and industry engagement. Responsible for organizing conferences on Indian Banking, Insurance, Health Insurance, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, and Micro Finance, ensuring Ensure the events serve as platforms for knowledge sharing, and networking within the banking and finance community. Lead ASSOCHAM's engagement on critical issues like digital banking, AI, data protection, ESG, PSL guidelines, and stressed assets resolution, formulating and communicating policy recommendations for positive regulatory change. Responsible for promoting partnerships between banks, NBFCs, and Fintechs to drive innovation and tackle emerging sector challenges. Role involves overseeing research initiatives to gather industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, and contributing to the creation of reports, and publications on relevant topics. Mobilizing revenue for the department through webinars/virtual interactive session/ Conference /Conclave /membership. Increasing membership base of the councils thereby increasing visibility of the chamber.
