As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team and lead our culinary operations to new heights.

 

Position Overview: As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to staff management and budgeting. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership skills, and culinary expertise to deliver world-class cuisine that delights our guests and exceeds their expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, and the unique identity of our establishment.

• Oversee culinary operations in all restaurant's Kitchens, including Pastry, Tandoor Kitchen, Indian Kitchen, Main Kitchen, Chinese Kitchen, as well as stewarding operations.

• Lead and inspire a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to consistently deliver high-quality dishes with precision and creativity.

• Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen expenses to meet budgetary targets while maintaining exceptional food quality.

• Participate actively in quality initiatives such as the daily Chef briefings and monthly team meetings in order to improve culinary operations, meet targets and keep communication flowing.

• Assist in inventory taking.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and professional development among kitchen staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Collaborate with management, front-of-house staff, and vendors to coordinate seamless dining experiences and exceed guest expectations.

• Maintain good personal hygiene, clean uniforms, proper sanitation and cleanliness of the workstations and work tools.

• Be aware of the dangers of contaminated food and ensure ingredients in the refrigerators are checked and replaced appropriately.

• Review all timesheets to ensure that team members' work times and meal breaks are accurate.

• Stay current with industry trends, culinary techniques, and best practices to continuously elevate our culinary offerings and maintain our competitive edge.

 

 

 

Who are we looking for

 

• A minimum of 4 Years of proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a Reputed restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.

• Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop kitchen staff.

• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food presentation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Detail-oriented with a passion for excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
