Job description
Golang Tools and Frameworks :- Utilize expertise in popular Golang tools and frameworks such as go-mod, gorilla, golangci-lint, and mockery to enhance and streamline development processes.Code Conversion Tools :- Hands-on experience with code conversion tools like Gitlab, ensuring efficient version control and collaboration within the development team.- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) :- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for Golang applications.Kubernetes Expertise :- Utilize Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications, ensuring seamless development, deployment, and scaling of Golang-based solutions.Cloud Experience :- Leverage experience on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS to design, implement, and deploy scalable and reliable Golang applications.Database Management :- Hands-on experience with Postgres DB, including database design, optimization, and maintenance for Golang applications in the Retail domain.Caching Technologies :- Utilize expertise in caching technologies like Redis to enhance application performance and responsiveness.Team Leadership :- Lead and manage a team of 3 to 4 resources, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.Stakeholder Communication :- Engage in discussions with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other team members to understand requirements and contribute to the development of technical solutions.Design and Technical Approach :- Provide design and technical approach for Golang-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.Technical Mentorship :- Mentor junior team members, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and providing technical guidance for skill development.Code Reviews :- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.Performance Optimization :- Identify and implement performance optimizations for Golang applications, ensuring optimal efficiency and responsiveness.Documentation :- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, deployment processes, and best practices.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Senior Golang Engineer in the Retail domain.- Strong leadership and team management skills.
