A videographer is a creative professional responsible for capturing and editing video footage for various purposes. They possess technical expertise in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices to produce high-quality video content.
Plan and organize video shoots, including location scouting, equipment setup, and scheduling.
Operate video cameras, lenses, and related equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Set up and adjust lighting and audio equipment to ensure optimal recording conditions.
Direct talent or subjects during shoots to capture desired shots and scenes.
Monitor and manage technical aspects such as camera angles, framing, and composition.
Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Transfer and organize video footage onto a computer or editing system.
Edit and assemble video clips, applying color correction, transitions, and visual effects.
Enhance audio quality by synchronizing and mixing audio tracks.
Add graphics, text, and animations as required.
Collaborate with clients or project stakeholders to review and make necessary revisions to the video.
Competence in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Understanding of video compression formats and output settings for different platforms and delivery mediums.
Demonstrate creativity in capturing shots, framing scenes, and editing video content.
Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure visual and audio continuity, color grading, and overall quality.
Minimum graduation required.
Minimum 2yr experience required.
