Job Description
As an AWS DevOps Engineer with 45 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services AWS platform.
You will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline the deployment and operations processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code IaCDesign, implement, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Continuous IntegrationContinuous Deployment CICDImplement and maintain CICD pipelines to automate application deployments.
- Work with development teams to integrate automated testing into the deployment process.AWS Services
- Expertise in a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.
- Monitoring and LoggingImplement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Security and Compliance Implement security best practices in AWS environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- AutomationAutomate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
- Scripting and automation using tools such as AWS CLI, Python, or Shell scripting.
- CollaborationCollaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
- TroubleshootingInvestigate and resolve infrastructure and application issues, working closely with crossfunctional teams.
- Scaling and OptimizationImplement and maintain scalable solutions to accommodate growing business needs.
- Optimize existing infrastructure for cost and performance.
- DocumentationDocument infrastructure, processes, and configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain an uptodate reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 45 years of handson experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.Strong knowledge of IaC tools Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Experience with CICD tools Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline.
- Proficiency in scripting languages Python, Shell.Indepth understanding of AWS services and best practices.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- AWS certifications e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
