What this job involves: About The Role We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager (Facilities Manager) to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and functioning seamlessly. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Responsibilities - Plan and meet Mandatory Account Deliverables as promulgated by account director
- Inventory Management and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervise all facilities staff (and external contractors)
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Keep financial and non-financial records
- Perform analysis and forecasting
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventive maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
- Coordinate intra-office moves
- Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
- Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
- Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met
- Verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing
- Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
- Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
- Conflict Management and Stakeholder Management of the faciltiies staff
- Prepare and track facility budget
- Monitor expenses and payments
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Advise on and monitor energy efficiency
Sounds like you To apply you need to be: Experience & Education - Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
- Well-versed in IFM operations and facilities management best practices
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
- BSc/BA/ Graduate in any discipline/IHM/ engineering/ business administration or relevant field
- Conflict Resolution and Stakeholder Management
