As a Senior UX/UI Designer - Data Visualization with a strong background in data analytics and data visualization, you will play a pivotal role in designing and crafting user interfaces that make data more accessible, understandable, and actionable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences that enable our clients to harness the power of data.
What you'll do:
- User-Centered Design: Lead the design process with a focus on user-centred principles, ensuring that data-driven solutions are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Data Visualization: Create visually compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data simply and engagingly.
- User Research: Conduct user research, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into user needs and preferences, and apply these findings to design decisions.
- Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to validate design concepts and provide stakeholders with a tangible vision of the final product.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and developers to ensure the seamless integration of UX/UI design with data-driven functionalities.
- Data-driven decision-making: Leverage your expertise in data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving user experiences based on data metrics.
- Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability in UX/UI design across products.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing data-driven projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Deep understanding of data analytics and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with design systems and their implementation.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in UX/UI design and data analytics.
