Regulatory Strategy is seeking to add an Associates to its core team to assist the department with a variety of regulatory analytics and technology deliverables. This dynamic position provides opportunities for working across the firm, including but not limited to working with LOBs/Functions, Oversight & Control, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance and Audit.  Candidate will develop expertise on the firm’s regulatory agenda as well as a big picture understanding of how governance is rolled out and managed at a firmwide level. 

 

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end reporting and analytics needs with a wide variety of internal reporting on regulatory engagement (e.g., regulatory issues (inc. MRA, consent orders), engagements with regulators, meetings, requests) 
• Drive automation of new and existing reporting from multiple source systems (CORE, RACER, LetRepo, manual trackers) using data transformation tools like Tableau, Alteryx, etc.
• Build, maintain and enhance Alteryx data transformation workflows. Deploy them to Alteryx Server
• Support frequent reporting/analytics requests received from various levels of stakeholders (including the Operating Committee level)
• Collaborate with users and developers to identify areas where Machine Learning could help provide benefits and apply machine learning and data science methodologies to different problem statements
• Serve as a data subject matter expert within the team
• Assist with maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog in JIRA for development and estimation.
• Develop and maintain deep relationships with partners and stakeholders across the firm including Engagement Managers and senior leaders in the Business, Technology and other functions across various lines of business
• Additional responsibilities in support of the product owner team of the firm’s regulatory engagement platform with the development, user acceptance testing and roll out of technology enhancements, in support of data analytics and user experience/workflow. Drive  requirements gathering, including drafting mockups, writing user stories and acceptance criteria

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with relevant work experience
• Looking for 10+ years of work experience in data analytics and reporting  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, working with technology team and business stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot; vlookup; macros) and PowerPoint (Pitch Pro)
• Experience in data transformation tools, such as Alteryx and data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense and enhanced data mining skills using SQL, Python or other equivalent tools
• Experience and basic understanding of opensource models, machine learning APIs and computational packages (LLM e.g., llama, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, statsmodels). 
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Detail oriented 
• Proactive, can-do approach
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic priorities that meets our goals
• Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences 
• Strong understanding of technological development methodologies such as Agile
