Summary: We seek an experienced Software Quality Engineer with a passion for excellence in software engineering, demonstrated skills, and expertise to transform that passion into continuous improvement and drive high-quality releases.
As Software Quality Engineer, you will be part of talented quality engineers and an integral part of an agile development team. The candidate must possess strong problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing and a strong understanding of SQL. Requirements: Candidate must possess a strong understanding of SQL queries and be capable of writing joint queries. Additionally, candidates can explain query results to others. Understands the concepts behind and when to do automation. Technical requirements: Experience in working with an Agile software development team. Experience defining and executing test plans & test cases and reporting results. Ability to write clear and concise bug tickets using defect/ticket tracking systems (Azure DevOps) Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market. Perform thorough regressing testing on the application. Must effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Understanding of GIT – Pull/Push Merge Concept Has demonstrated test engineer capabilities works well with other departments – Dev/PM/Product Owner. 5+ years of relevant working experience in Software Quality Testing. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s in computer science, related field or equivalent experience. Professional certification as warranted. Management Requirements: Be able to perform day-to-day tasks without supervision. Able to provide regular progress and status updates on your development tasks to your manager and peers. Manage and track the progress of ongoing items you depend on Personal impact Passion for quality assurance and attention to detail. Strong desire to learn new technologies, methods, and tools. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Communication Good communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written. Ability to report accurate test status and progress to the QA manager and other stakeholders Teamwork Willingness to be flexible and adapt to project priorities and processes and ability to meet deadlines. Work closely with development and project team members globally to deliver high-quality solutions to aggressive time frames. Company Overview.
