Job description
Job Title: Head Site Technology Job Accountabilities- 1. Provide technology assurance to the assets, add value through optimized operation, identify opportunities to create value, and develop & retain talent. 2. Technology Support, Value Creation and Optimization a. Develop overall annual plan and budget for the site technology group in line with the technology and business strategy b. Interface with other site functions to ensure that reliability and safety of operations is maintained and the production targets are met c. Improving performance of process units better than current d. Identification of opportunity for Improved performance and Process reliability e. Ensure technical integrity of all changes / plant modifications as per set technical standards and guidelines. f. Provide technical guidance to the site teams on critical issues such as, PIOs, Feedstock/Cat/Chem. selection, benchmarking gap closure etc. g. Maximize the Profit Improvement opportunities h. Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints (mfg. related) and visiting customers as per the requirement i. Implementation of systems to monitor plant performance, Deviations and recommend corrective action j. Ensure optimal resource allocation to enable highest level of technical delivery and utilization k. Parameter finalisation of PSF , PFF , PFF – Recycle and Construction Fibre. l. Ensure necessary checks for IMS implementation.
3. Energy Conservation and Process Optimization a. Develop annual energy plans for overall site and strategies to reduce unit energy cost b. Develop programs to build the technical and human capability. 4. QA-QC a. Review and validate overall QA-QC annual plan and budget for the site b. Ensure adequate resource availability and technology update for site QA-QC activities for existing facilities and new projects c. Interface with Technology CoE for resolving unresolved QA-QC issues / limitation and improving site capabilities. d. Quality release of PSF , PFF , PFF – Recycle and Construction Fibre. e. Ensure adequate checks for BIS compliance f. Third Party Audits for product certifications 5. HSE & other regulatory compliances a. Ensure PSM / OMS/ regulatory compliance b. Monitor and audit compliance with applicable HSEF procedures/ practices · Skills : In depth knowledge of PSF ,PFF, Polyester · Experience Required : Minimum 10-12 years Qualification : B Tech, M Tech in Chemical/TextileJob tags
