Job Description: Trainee - Human Resources cum Admin


SUMMARY :
As a Trainee in Human Resources cum Admin , you will play a pivotal role in supporting various administrative functions while also managing receptionist duties within the
organization. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience and knowledge in HR operations, employee relations, administrative support, and front desk management.
The Trainee will work closely with the HR and Administrative teams to contribute to the smooth functioning of these departments, while also ensuring a professional and welcoming
experience for visitors and employees at the reception area.


Key Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, providing a warm and professional welcome.
  2. Answer incoming calls, take messages, and redirect calls as appropriate.
  3. Manage the reception area, including keeping it clean, organized, and stocked with
  4. necessary supplies.
    Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with visitor sign-in procedures.
    HR Administration:
    Assist in maintaining employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and
    confidentiality.
    Support HR activities such as performance appraisals, employee surveys, and employee
    communications.
    Help in organizing employee training and development programs.
    Employee Relations:
    Assist in handling employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement
    initiatives and activities.
    Administrative Support:
    Provide administrative support to the HR and Administrative teams, including managing
    calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
    Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and organizing office events or functions.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    Pursuing or recently completed any Bachelor’s degree.
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    Good in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
    Receptionist experience or strong customer service skills preferred.
    Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    Professional demeanour and appearance.
