Appkin is a new age super-food company working with farmers and farmers producer organizations across various states to help them increase income by growing nutrient dense organic food produce. Our mission is to promote nature's way of healthy & conscious living. You will be part of a young and dynamic team and will be leading our manufacturing and food processing unit to help us serve our clients across India and abroad. We are one of the biggest suppliers for superfoods in the country and in a growth stage. We are looking for a person who like to hustle managing day to day operations, production schedule and planning, while keeping an eye on achieving long term improvements.
Responsibilities
- Review production processes and procedure to ensure they operate at highest possible efficiency.
- Work with multiple departments, vendors to ensure smooth order fulfilment rates.
- Oversee the daily task allocation, hiring and training of operations personnel to ensure a capable workforce.
- Carry out research to discover ways of improving on existing operational processes.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of goods to clients.
- Manage logistics providers and delivery of goods.
- Do inventory planning and maintains of raw materials as per the need of the business to ensure timely order fulfilment rates.
- Maintain daily production records.
- Utilize cost-benefit analytical techniques in improving operational efficiency.
- Address employees' and labour's issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.
- Managing and leading the team, ensure individual development of skills.
- Create and maintain Standard operating process, across end-to-end product order lifecycle.
- Work with founders to improve facility and future proofing the needs as per the growing requirements.
- Ability to do root cause analysis and come up with solutions for given problem.
- Implement FSSAI guidelines and safety policies for general plant operations.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of experience managing facility & operations.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a manufacturing unit.
- Certification in production and inventory management as well as quality control.
- Sound knowledge of FMCG industry-specific factory equipment.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to multitask and be calm with chaos.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills.
