Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Purchase Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the procurement function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services to meet the company's production and operational needs. Responsibilities: · Collaborate with the Purchase Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. · Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms regarding price, quality, and delivery of goods and services. · Monitor market trends, assess supplier capabilities, and identify potential new suppliers to enhance the supply chain. · Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. · Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support in sourcing the required materials. · Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure a smooth supply chain. · Evaluate supplier performance based on key performance indicators and implement improvement plans when necessary. · Stay updated on industry developments, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement. · Participate in vendor audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and ethical practices. · Assist in developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. · Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry. · Strong negotiation and communication skills. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Familiarity with procurement software and tools. · Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement. · Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently. · Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Job tags
