Treasury Cash Specialist @ BSI Financial Services

Make a positive change and join our team today as a Treasury Cash Specialist.The Treasury Cash Specialist is responsible for overseeing and maintaining cash controls as it relates to reconciling all borrower payments received and ensuring the investor’s remittance is accurate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Balancing daily lockbox activity to funds received
• Researching borrower activity and monetary transactions on our loan servicing system
• Conduct daily teller balancing procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconciliation of Clearing accounts and payment and disbursing clearing accounts
• Assist with daily escrow advance recoveries.
• Daily funds movements – working with online banking applications.
• Process the daily funding of overdraft accounts and pull daily bank balances.
• Provide support for offsite clients who post cash.
• Provide support for annual audits.
• Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2 to 5 years' experience in Treasury in US Mortgage domain.
• Proficient with PC, Word, Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in accounting, preferred, and/or minimum 2 years applicable accounting/reconciliation experience
• Mortgage banking experience, preferred.
• Strong Mathematics/Analytical
• Intermediate level Excel skills
• Ability to communicate required deliverables and schedules to internal and external audiences.
