JOB DESCRIPTION
Analyzing patient's medical record to code Procedures and diagnosis using ICD-10-CM, HCPCS and coding concepts
KEY RESULT'S AREA
Complete coding batches within stipulated time with Quality.
COMPETENCY REQUIRED
• Good knowledge of Anatomy and Medical Terminology.
• Need to Know HCC coding guidelines to handle given codes.
• Analyze patient medical record and ability to apply General, Client and Insurance specifics guidelines.
As a member of our HCC Coding Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices. Here are some key accountabilities you will undertake:
Review medical records to abstract ICD-10 codes, with a focus on those related to HCCs and RxHCCs.
Adhere to Medicare guidelines, ICD-10-CM guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
• Analyze and code patient medical records according to project-specific guidelines.
• Try to increase productivity with quality on monthly basis
