About This Opportunity
DB Developer Work to develop high-quality database solutions and work to Review and interpret ongoing business requirements. What You Will Do Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures, functions (UDF, Windows etc) Develop solutions using dynamic SQL scripts Develop procedures and scripts for data migration and data integration Investigate exceptions about data anomalies Data interrogation Understand source data systems in order to research/report on requests Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements Recommend new/improved data queries Ensure all development is documented so it can be referred to, updated, shared, and is fit for purpose Actively participate in knowledge sharing across the department Take responsibility for our SQL project tasks (when assigned) and deliver in a timely manner with an excellent data quality Assist with ServiceDesk ticket queues to resolve user queries Work with users to determine detailed, and accurate requirements Ensure all issues and service requests are accurately recorded in the IT ServiceDesk system Ensure the Change management process is followed Other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job and the title of the position that may arise from time to time or as required by managemen You will bring At least 4 years' experience within a SQL development organisation delivering successfully against project tasks using T-SQL, SSIS using SQL 2016 upwards with Console Application Development using C#, Web Services, DOT NET Framework, Rest API, Selenium Framework as Developer ( NOT Tester), MS SQL, Azure Cloud Technologies ( Azure blob, Logic App, Data factory, Key Vault, Web Jobs, Web App, App Services, Function App) * Experience with delivering/supporting BI solutions with proper data modelling, data integrity and data consistency Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organisation Critical thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills within a fast-paced, diverse and multifaceted SQL topography (On-premise and Azure) Organised and methodical in approach Good time-management skills to estimate effort and deliver projects on time Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success What Happens once you apply Click Here to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.
