Job description

We are looking for a Python developer with more than 4 years of experience to join our engineering team and help us create dynamic software applications for our clients. In this role, you will write and test scalable code, develop back-end components, and integrate user-facing elements in collaboration with front-end developers. Should be able to design highly responsive web applications that perfectly meet the client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Design and implement database models using Postgres and Django ORM.
• Create background jobs and schedules using Celery and Celery Beat for various tasks and processes.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework.
• Implement version control best practices to manage the codebase.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on Django.
• Proficiency with database management using Postgres and Django ORM.
• Experience creating and managing background jobs and scheduling tasks using Celery and Celery Beat.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development using Django Rest Framework.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code.
• Experience with any additional technologies or frameworks is a plus.
