Software Engineer III - Informatica PowerCenter Hyderabad 1.00 PM -10.00 PM IST Hybrid Work - 3 Days onsite and 2 days remote in a week.
Perks: Two Way Cab [Door Pickup and Door Drop] Shift Allowance [ Rs. 300/- Per Shift] Job Description (Summary) Development and support resource acting as integral part of Financial Insights and Financial Analytics Digital Services teams working in agile manner supporting multiple projects and support services. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure standard site billing data load properly from QBS (Quest Billing System - mainframe) and Non-Standard Billing data load (individual interfaces) properly into Quest Diagnostics Decision Support System (QDSS) each month end. Administer Informatica application bringing services up/down, troubleshooting errors, apply patches and update PowerCenter version when required. Support migration of QDSS code to Matillion and Snowflake. Define and develop processes to support required analytics outcomes which may include data gathering and preparation, extract transform and load processes, and database design. Gather and document customer requirements and develop design specifications. Create and execute Unit and System Test Plans to ensure quality. Model enterprise data to enable development of business analytics and ad hoc analysis. Coordinate efforts with various departments, including Database Administration, to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, implement changes and publish new reports and analytics. Provide concise and comprehensive technical documentation, including Design Specifications according to the Agile Project Execution Process (PEP) used by Quest Diagnostics Required Work Experience: Working in agile development team ETL Development Database Administration Preferred Work Experience: Experience migrating database and analytic/insight solutions from on premise to cloud solutions. Technical Knowledge : Informatica PowerCenter ETL Developer and Administrator Kornshell Scripting Star Schema Database Design System Automation & Scheduling Database knowledge with Oracle Exacloud and PL/SQL AIX Unix Experience with Tableau Experience with cloud-based data warehouse technologies. Skills : Database Data Analysis Database Performance Tuning Application Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Data Modeling, Data Extraction and Data Cleansing Ability to generate estimates for project planning, including task breakdown, level of effort and project management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Required Education Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Computer Science Master of Science or Master of Business Administration preferred Required Technical Training or Professional Licensing Proficient ETL Informatica Developer Informatica PowerCenter Admin Oracle PL/ SQL Performance Tuning with SQL Shell Scripting (Kornshell) SFTP Tableau Dashboard Developer AIX Unix navigation Data Modeling/ Analysis GitLab Preferred Technical Training or Professional Licensing : Familiarity with COBOL StarTeamJob tags
