Job description
Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Director - LCL. The primary responsibility of this role is to build and manage our Less than Container Load (LCL) product offerings, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The LCL Director will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, optimizing product features, and driving overall product performance.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the LCL product portfolio, aligning with the company's business objectives and market dynamics. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the LCL segment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, finance, and technology to drive product development initiatives and ensure seamless implementation. Define pricing strategies for LCL services, considering factors such as cost structures, market demand, competitor pricing, and value proposition. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets. Lead product innovation and differentiation efforts by identifying opportunities for service enhancements, process improvements, and strategic partnerships. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience within the LCL product line. Act as a subject matter expert on LCL logistics, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed. Stay updated on industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to the LCL segment, and incorporate insights into product strategy and execution.
