Job description
We are an international Oil & Gas services company currently setting up our new plant in Ahmedabad, Gujrat with multiple plants globally.
We are looking for a Materials Manager to join our India team. He will be responsible for both Inventory management and Bookkeeping/Accounts management. Inventory Responsibilities: Manage inventory data with a standardized software Document control for all purchase of supplies and materials according to specifications Control inventory levels and ensure database management of material during production Assist in forecasting to plan future orders Accounting Responsibilities General bookkeeping for accounting Coordinating data to managers, and other entities. Assisting finance manager with related work. Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Requirements : Proven experience as Accountant/Inventory Manager Experience in bookkeeping Familiarity with logistics, supply chain and inventory management systems Understanding of forecasting and budgeting Working knowledge of QuickBooks desktop. Qualifications BA in finance/accounting/economics or related field is a must Proven experience as a Inventory Controller / Finance Management or similar role in a similar business (i.e. Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.) 5-10 years of relevant experience.
