Opportunity
Executes day to day Payments processing in SAP with good control over review and accurate payment processing.
Rule and Knowledge based processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular payment run according to agreed schedule which includes generating the payment proposal, reviewing supporting evidence, executing payment run, and posting payment into SAP Systems accordingly.
- Detect and notify unsuccessful payments to the Affiliate Finance. Assist the Affiliate Finance to Investigate and resolve unsuccessful payments.
- Provides documents and/or reports required for audits.
- Creation of manual payment instructions in Government and Bank Portal
- Conducts data entry of accounting entries into the system and ensures data integrity
- Checks and validates quality and accuracy of information provided by affiliates for transaction processing
- Ensures controls are maintained within the Accounting operating environment in compliance with SLA
- Query resolution for clients regarding clearing data and payments
- Analyse existing processes in terms of risk and control framework, where appropriate make suggestions for improved processing
- Take ownership of issues, understand key systems and control points in order to capture potential issues, also liaise with IT and other stakeholders to resolve or escalate any issues/ errors etc
- Extensive payments experience
- Other tasks assigned by immediate superior
Required skills:
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in shipping or operation financial role preferably in payment processing. With technical proficiency and extensive exposure in SAP Payments as end user and knowledgeable of MS Office - Excel, Word, PPT.
- Graduate qualified accountant with strong academic background
- Demonstrable track record in a similarly complex role.
- Graduate, ideally Finance and Accounting.

- Understand the Operational business processes across L&S and FFW business
- Experience in logistics business would be an added advantage.
- With strong analytical and communication (written and spoken) skills and is eager to work in a team oriented
