Job Overview FLY Consulting Services is hiring for the role of Medical Coding. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a full-time position.
Qualifications And Skills - Proven experience as a Medical Coder with 4 to 6 years of experience
- Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, AHIMA) required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Familiarity with Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Roles And Responsibilities - Assign appropriate medical codes to patient records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Review patient documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Identify and report documentation and coding errors to the appropriate parties
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding issues
- Stay up-to-date with coding changes and attend training sessions as required
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
- Meet productivity and quality targets set by the company
