Job Description :We are seeking a dedicated Chef/Cloud Formation Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions to drive our organization's cloud strategy.Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive AWS cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, primarily AWS CloudFormation and Chef.- Automate deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure components using Chef and CloudFormation templates.- Analyze application requirements and design resource stacks using CloudFormation.- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure applications are built with scalability, security, and fault tolerance in mind.- Continually monitor and optimize infrastructure performance to ensure reliable and cost-effective operation.- Maintain infrastructure documentation and update it to reflect modifications and enhancements.- Troubleshoot and solve issues related to infrastructure, performance, and capacity.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AWS, Chef, and other relevant technologies and incorporate them into the infrastructure.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.- 5-7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environment is essential.- Strong proficiency with Chef and CloudFormation to automate management, configuration, and deployment of cloud-based resources.- Familiarity with other AWS Services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS, EBS, ELB, and IAM.- Excellent understanding of best practices for cloud security, high availability, and scalability.- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
