Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Solutioning & Transition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and overseeing the smooth transition of projects from inception to implementation. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
Lead the solutioning process for technical software assignments, including gathering requirements, defining project scope, and developing innovative solutions to address client needs.
Oversee the transition of projects from solutioning phase to implementation, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of deliverables.
Identify solution options that are competitive and that offer the best fit against the customer requirements, exploring all solution possibilities (standard and non-standard service offerings) and challenge line of business/service tower status-quo, where necessary.
Experience of working on at least 3 large and complex deals that are more than 50Mn to 75Mn USD TCV.
Manage a large design team, defining the approach to a complex solution development including identification of strategic level risks and remedies.
Contribute to the proposal deliverables and authoring activities taking ownership of the solution overview and any assigned response sections and provide guidance, support and coaching to authors and other contributors.
Responsible for owning the Solution Collaterals & Previous experience as a Solution Architect.
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the solutioning & transition team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues related to solutioning and transition activities and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in solutioning and transition leadership roles for 5+ years, with at least 20 years of total experience in technical software assignments.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and experience with project management tools and techniques.
Expertise in tools supporting solutioning & transition activities.
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and drive successful project delivery.
