Responsibilities
The newly created Global Business Technology (GBT) team at Chargebee will be at the forefront of all major Chargebee growth and strategic initiatives. As such, we are looking to staff the team with the top talent in the organization.
We are seeking a Business Technology Project Manager who will help drive key initiatives around process, data, and systems automation Centered around Chargebee's Quote to cash systems, as a part of the advancement of a new Global Business Technology 3-year roadmap. This role will fall under the GBT-PMO team.
The BT PM is a key role responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to delivery. It includes defining the project scope, creating a timeline, operating resources, and ensuring successful delivery. The BT PM is also responsible for ensuring the project is on track and meeting the customer's needs.
An ideal Candidate must be somewhat knowledgeable of some of the business technologies such as ERP, CRM, Billing, Rev Rec, etc., and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project. Additionally, they should be able to identify areas of improvement and provide solutions to problems. Project Managers are expected to manage the team effectively, provide guidance, and motivate them to reach their goals.
What will the BT Project Manager Do
The BT PM oversees the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of Agile project teams. This job involves leading, directing, and motivating project teams to reach goals, objectives, and deliverables.
The PM also manages project resources, develops project plans, tracks progress, and reports to stakeholders. Furthermore, they should identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
