Software Engineer :
As a Software Engineer with the Tata AIG, you will
• Be responsible for developing the right solutions that can drive a significant positive impact to the business.
• Work with various stakeholders to identify the right solutions to build
• Architect, prototype and validate solutions identified to quickly decide whether to continue developing or fail fast
• Work with the latest technologies and libraries to design, build, test and deploy web and API solutions
• Use the right cloud provider / service to host, deploy and monitor the solutions
• Utilize best software engineering practices, working in an Agile environment, use version control (Git or otherwise), ensure information security and more
• Continue learning and improving your own skills to become a better engineer
• Own the entire solutioning from design to implementation to delivery
• Measure your deliverables against success thresholds and optimize to ensure usability
An ideal candidate for this role would:
• Have 2+ years of experience developing APIs for mobile applications
• Be comfortable coding in one of NodeJS, or similar
• Have developed frontends / websites using any client side library / framework like Angular, React, etc. JavaScript knowledge is essential.
• Have used AWS, GCP or Azure as a cloud provider and are comfortable using their offerings
• Have developed complex APIs in the past
• Know or understand logging, metrics, monitoring and deployment as part of the development life cycle
