Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Executive located in Bengaluru. The role involves office administration, tender support, customer service and . The Office Executive will be responsible for managing customer queries, answering phone calls, responding to emails, maintaining records, preparing quotations, handling petty cash, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Handling incoming customer calls, new enquiries and service requests
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Prepare budgetary proposals and orders
- Review tender document, prepare & submit bids
- Research, compile and format data to prepare weekly & monthly sales reports
- Manage travel logistics and activities
- Provide general administrative support
- Managing company social media feed (LinkedIn, Facebook) etc.
- Review product materials such as brochures and catalogs to ensure accuracy & consistency across all marketing materials
- Perform support duties for sales & service team
- Coordinate with back-office for various tasks including purchase requisition, processing check requests, and purchasing office supplies
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Tendering skills (mandatory)
- Interpersonal skills
- Basics of Indian customs and importing procedure (additional advantage)
- Basic of social media marketing (additional advantage)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Prior experience in administrative assistance or office administration
- Past experience in tender administration
- Past experience in the laboratory equipment industry (additional advantage)
