Job description

Our Senior IT Operation Analyst s primary focus is to develop and maintain new and existing data mart systems for reporting and analytics use cases for the GRC Application Portfolio Team. Create and manage custom workflows for automating new or existing business processes using tools such as Microsoft Power Apps or Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Logic Apps, or scripting languages such as Power Shell, Bash, Python, etc. Develop and maintain new or existing custom applications for supporting business processes using C#, NETCore, .NET Framework. Proficiency and domain knowledge in implementing OLTP and OLAP workloads using MSSQL, Azure SQL Database and Oracle.

This Senior IT Operations Analyst should communicate cross functionality to gather business requirements and translate this information into working solutions using technical knowledge and understanding. This individual should also translate these requirements into a useable data presentation model within such platforms as Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, etc. for GRC Application Portfolio leadership team.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Designing dimensional models using the Kimball Methodology star schema, bus architecture using Microsoft SQL Server. Database development with objects such as tables, views, functions stored procedures, etc.
• Specifies user/system interfaces and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance, security requirements and existing systems. Produces detailed designs and documents all work using required standards, methods, and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate
• Design, develop and maintain new or existing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services to present actionable insights to the GRC Application Portfolio Team. Design tabular models using SQL Server Analysis Services (nice to have), M or Dax, power query and power pivot.
• Develop and maintain new or existing custom applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or Python to support business processes across the GRC portfolio. Ability to deploy applications to the cloud as functions or web applications ( critical skill ). Maintain and manage source code using version control systems such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, or GIT.
• Adept at creating documentation for new or existing business processes to be stored and shared according to GRC Application Portfolio document repo standards and practices.
• Collaborates with other technical and non-technical team members to understand project requirements and key deliverables and design specifications, etc.

Job Qualifications

Education:

Required: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred: Master s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years or more of IT Experience

• 3-5 years experience working with Windows & Linus OS

• 3-5 years experience managing systems in Azure & AWS 3-5 years experience working with ARM templates

• 3-5 years experience working with automation solutions (Azure DevOps, PowerShell/Bash scripting, Power Automate, Power Apps)

• 3-5 years of application development experience using languages such as C#, Python, NETCore, .NET Framework

• 3-5 years experience in database design & development (MSSQL, Azure SQL, Oracle) 3-5

• Â years experience with dashboard development & design

• 3-5 years experience with understanding of virtualization or containers (nice to have)
