About The Business The
Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub.. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement Application engineering is an integral part of the daily, strategic, operation and general management of GIS business. The Application Engineer will support the operations for gas insulated switchgear products in MDB user management, implementation of changes, investigation, troubleshooting & updating the documentation.
Your Responsibilities - Create change and remove users.
- Update Roles and Regular review of user base ( 700) Implement changes in the planning architecture and application, add new labels, milestones or tasks.
- Implement changes in planning templates and implement new revisions in the productive system.
- Perform the necessary verifications tests in and prepare and rollout application changes Failure investigation and troubleshooting.
- Verify and manage tickets from users and perform Root cause analysis and define actions.
- Support users in questions Create requests for application design changes.
- Create change requests for application changes and manage the data gateway.
- Manage the PowerBI Data Gateway Update and change application documentation and update and change the application documentation based on SharePoint and teams.

Your Background - Any graduation (Science, Computer applications, Engineering) min 3 years relevant experience in Project environment with hands on experience in SQL and Power BI.
- Proficient knowledge client server applications under Windows and SQL
- Hands-on experience in PowerBI. Proficient in Advanced MS Excel, charts or Excel dashboards.
- Proven expertise in handling live connections of data with different systems.
- Exposure and work experience with Python is added advantage.
- Self-motivated, willingness to take up and lead new challenges, excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
