Job description

We are a fast-paced firm with a high-quality standard in our product. This role involves working closely with the development team and product team. You will be working independently on a module with minimal supervision. Expect a dynamic mix of functional and automation testing responsibilities, where your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our product standards.

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering or relevant.
• 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product quality by confirming and verifying bugs, determining steps to reproduce, and performing root cause analysis (RCA) to share findings with the team.
• Automate business workflows using tools like Playwright to enhance efficiency.
• Build comprehensive test suites covering Front-end, API, load, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and development teams to understand project requirements and create, automate, execute, manage, and report test plans, cases, and reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client issues, promptly debugging and resolving them to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Manage deployment to test environments, understanding various deployment scenarios for effective testing.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Functional Automation for Web and API, with familiarity with tools like Playwright, Cypress, etc.
• Knowledgeable in API testing and automation using Rest Assured, Postman, etc., and experience in performance/load testing with JMeter, Locust, etc.
• Strong command of Java or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with experience in Version Control tools like Git and CI tools like Jenkins.
• Collaborates across different modules, promoting ideation, and takes ownership of QA Processes in scrums, including project estimation and documentation of test cases.
• Focuses on UI/UX alongside application performance, with hands-on knowledge of testing backend platforms.
• Analytical ability to understand complex application architecture and a keen inclination towards usability and the end-user perspective.
• Experience in startups is advantageous, with an understanding of code analysis and metrics for coverage, and proficiency in implementing required processes across teams.
