Experience of Blast Furnace/Sinter Plant/Coke Oven products/byproducts analysis through OES & XRF or conventional chemical analysis process
Job Description
Overall target of the position
Perform different kind of analyses inside or outside plant for operation & raw material as per requirement.
Tasks & Responsibilities
To ensure analysis of raw material product & byproduct of pig iron manufacturing process in their shift.
Ensuring proper identification of sample before and after conducting test.
Ensure completion of test within delivery schedule.
Inspection of incoming spares consumables etc. and storing them properly with proper identification and ensure handling and preservation of materials during storage.
Ensure proper Storage of all samples (to be tested/tested) with clear identity. Maintenance of all technical records and carryout equipment check and maintenance as per plan.
Maintaining stock of chemicals & accessories required for department.
Maintaining calibration records required for QA Laboratory in their shift.
Receiving of samples from the customer.
Coordination between department & higher authority required in their shift.
Ensuring use of Personal protective equipment in department shift.
Recording accident /incident record in their shift.
Release of final reports maintenance of test records and final test reports handling of customer complaints forwarding the customer complaint to Quality Manager or Technical Manager as concerned.
Identification & logging of Safe/Unsafe Act/Condition and its removal.
Participation in different Digital & Automation initiatives of the Department/Company
Key Performance Indicators
Analysis of Hot metal sample Slag Sinter or other process samples: 100%
Analysis of incoming Raw Material samples: 100%
Analysis of other samples like Fealloys mudgun PPP BFG Flue dust etc: 100% as per requirement/schedule
Participation in safety kaizen improvement initiatives: 6 per year
Reporting of different results documentation for different ISO standards: As per requirement
