Job Title: Senior Operations Manager Company: Prashanth Hospital Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Position Overview:
As the Senior Operations Manager at Prashanth Hospital, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the operational functions of the hospital. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services, driving process improvement, and maintaining high standards of patient care. This position requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operational teams, ensuring alignment with the hospital's vision and objectives.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
2. Process Optimization:
• Continuously evaluate and optimise operational processes to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance patient care.
• Identify opportunities for automation, technology adoption, and process standardisation to drive efficiency and improve service quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and quality assurance protocols.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures, risk management practices, and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
• Lead and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
4. Resource Management:
• Manage the allocation of resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies, to optimise operational efficiency and meet patient needs.
• Coordinate with HR for operational staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Monitor resource utilisation, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to
maximise resource allocation.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Foster effective collaboration and communication with various stakeholders, including medical staff, clinical departments, administration, and support functions.
• Act as a liaison between operational teams and senior management, facilitating information flow and addressing operational challenges.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and committees to drive operational improvements and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10 Years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on hospital administration
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and quality standards.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using healthcare information systems and technology.
