We are hiring Embedded Software Engineer / Firmware Engineer : Role: Embedded Software Engineer / Firmware Engineer Experience : 6-8 Years Position Type: Full time Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Work Location : People Tech Group - Hyderabad Required Skills C/C++, Embedded, I2C, Debugging skills, BSP, Linux and OS internals, CAN, Vehicle / Automotive knowledge, device drivers Job Description DSP processor peripherals (HW/SW protocol, and drivers), such as UART, SPI, I2S, I2C, Flash. Matlab and Simulink experience Basic knowledge of digital signal processing Real time operation systems, such as uCOS, FreeRTOS, including its threading, scheduler, synchronization, resource management. Develop and test driver SW (Motors, Nand Flash, SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Bluetooth Low Energy) Experience with Board bring up (Boot Loaders & Driver SW) Develop and change-manage various levels of software requirements for Robotic devices (System and Module level) Evaluation and select system hardware and software architectures, designs, and parts. Ensure that they support all functional, operational, & financial requirements as well as overall product quality. Make definite recommendations and decisions via trade-off analyses. Extremely hands-on in rigging up systems to make the software run/test the software Familiar with working with Firmware tools such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers etc. Basic hardware board booting/debugging/schematic/scope. Generic C development environment, crossing compiling. Solid understanding and experience in design patterns, data structures and advanced programming techniques Python programming Solid Embedded C programming (compiler, linker, memory, CRT, etc.) Excellence at writing embedded C/C++ and familiarity with a Linux environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong and effective presentation skills, able to operate at multiple levels including senior management Self motivated Take ownership of problems Creative problem solving Team playerJob tags
