Job Description:
As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support data analysis and reporting needs within the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Your role will involve extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts, designing and implementing data models, and developing interactive dashboards and reports. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data analysis requirements. Design, develop, and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data marts. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data repositories. Develop and implement ETL processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView). Perform data analysis and identify insights to support business decision-making. Optimize and fine-tune existing BI solutions to improve performance and usability. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR). Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to BI solutions. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of business intelligence. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus. Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, designing and developing BI solutions. Strong proficiency in SQL and database management. Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, DataStage). Proficiency in at least one major BI reporting tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, MicroStrategy). Familiarity with data modeling techniques and concepts. Solid understanding of data warehousing and data integration principles. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with business stakeholders and the IT team. Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Job tags
