Role and Responsibilities
- Search for new potential schools and fix appointments with decisionmakers to permit international & national journeys for groups of students.
- Reach out to potential customers via telephone email and inperson inquiries. Generate new business with marketing initiatives and strategic plans.
- Negotiate and close longterm agreements with new clients in the assigned territory.
- Partner with schools to deliver 21stcentury skills through student travel.
- Conduct informative sessions about the complete journey with students and parents.
- Conduct sessions on previsa and predeparture of the journey.
- Develop strategies to generate business and increase sales.
- Act as a journey mentor during the travel schedule.
- Establish relationships with key decisionmakers within the customers organization to promote growth and retention.
- Identify and pursue valuable business opportunities to generate new company revenue and improve the bottom line profit.
- Demonstrate products to show potential customers benefits and advantages and encourage purchases.
- Maintain MIS of the clients database and take care of their escalations by resolving in minimum TAT and maintaining the business relationship.
- Monitor competitor s activity in order to maintain the most competitive rates.
- Ensure travel brochures & promotional literature are displayed prominently.
- Respond to all phone enquiries promptly courteously and in a friendly manner.
- Provide inputs/recommendations on tour and vacation packages being planned by the company.
Candidate Qualifications
Education: MBA (Experience Travel & Tourism is an added advantage)
Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in sales. Candidates having experience in the EduTourism industry are preferred.
