Team Summary
We are looking for a Senior Analyst for our Trade Accounting and Operations team to manage the operations and accounting workflows related to Private Credit Funds. The group handles various middle and back-office activities for Private credit funds which includes ensuring post trade activities happen in a timely manner. while ensuring an accurate view of positions, cash and P&L via daily reconciliations, settlements, and fund and investor accounting. The team works closely with our clients, counterparties, agents, fund administrators and investment managers to achieve this. The team deals with a variety of fund structures (master - feeder, side pocket, fund of funds) and different kinds of financial instruments, spanning different geographies and time zones used in the private credit space.
What You'll Do
- Accountability for accuracy and timeliness of the work product of the team - daily trade, position, and cash reconciliations to the / custodians/agents/administrators, income / expense accrual bookings, settlements of deal fundings and process drawdowns and distributions.
- Playing an active oversight role in day-to-day operations, escalation of aged breaks, business-as-usual troubleshooting and setting direction and goals for individuals
- Coordinating with investment managers, custodians & administrators to resolve day-to-day exceptions, as well as develop and drive strategic initiatives.
- Review fund and deal documentations to ascertain all the relevant details to aid in accurate set-up of new funds, investors and private loans and credit instruments and associated terms and conditions.
- Prepare Fund and Investor IRRs as required, preparation and review of periodic (Monthly/ Quarterly) NAVs for shadow books and records.
- Ensure accuracy of all fee computations and related Investor balances and allocations.
- Work with technology teams as needed, by assisting in special projects, delivering client solutions, product implementation and UAT.
What You'll Need
- The ideal candidate must have an MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or any another equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of work experience in fund or investor accounting (3-5 years in Private Credit)
- In-depth Private Credit/Private Lending domain knowledge and attention to detail
- Drive to enhance the efficiency of processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
