What you'll do
- Job Summary:
- We are looking for a dynamic individual to assume the role of Travel and Finance Specialist. In this dual capacity, you will primarily be responsible for efficiently managing corporate travel for employees, collaborating with airlines, agencies, and vendors, ensuring strict adherence to company policies. Concurrently, you will contribute to financial operations by processing employee expense claims, maintaining vendor and employee accounts, analyzing P2P transactions, and resolving issues with a keen focus on accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in both Travel Coordination and Purchase to Pay (P2P) roles, with proficiency in utilizing Concur, Coupa, and SAP tools.
Travel Coordination: - Support travelers through our Travel Service Platform, addressing travel bookings, payment issues, and online booking tool queries.
- Coordinate, book, and process payments for employee travel arrangements, including Visa, flights, accommodation, and transportation.
- Assist employees in resolving travel-related issues or emergencies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, travel regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain and update a database of employee travel profiles.
- Provide documentation to the internal accounting team for travel cost reimbursement.
- Monitor HR feed for optimization of travelers' profiles.
- Review travel-related expenses.
- Purchase to Pay (P2P) / Finance:
- Responsible for reviewing and processing employee expense reimbursement claims/reports in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct training sessions for new employees and provide ongoing internal training on all Travel & Expense (T&E) processes and policies.
- Provide support for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Work independently to meet tight deadlines and ensure accuracy in the reimbursement process.
What you'll need
- Commerce background with 5+ years relevant experience in MNC/Financial Shared service centers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of travel policies, visa regulations, and international travel requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in Purchase to Pay role, with Concur, Coupa, and SAP proficiency.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and excellent analytical skills.
- Experience with data visualization using BI systems (preferred).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
