Assistant Manager (AM)-Store Job descriptionAbout the role
We are looking for a confident and reliable Assistant Store Manager to support our store
manager with the daily business operations. The Assistant Store Manager's responsibilities
include training staff, managing inventory, ensuring a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing
environment.
Reports to : Commercial Operations Head / Operations Head
Reported by : All Stores personal
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Daily stock status update with reporting of excess/shortage/non-moving inventories.
● To ensure FIFO for major.
● Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on daily operations.
● Maintaining a clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing store front (storage in proper
racks, bins).
● Ensuring timely issue of material to production shops or vendors for processing.
● Daily enter of Receipts and Issues, maintaining the Stock register.
Requirements:
● Qualification : B.Com., Diploma in stores / Material Management will be preferred.
● Experience : 10 -12 years.
● Strong leadership and people management skills.
● Able to work a flexible schedule.
●Salary Budget : 5-6 lacs (Incl variable Pay)
Suitable Industry: Experience in electrical appliances or electronic parts or automotive industry
will be preferred. Should have handled the stores / material function of any of the above
industries involving more no. of SKU’s.
