We are Looking for Ping Directory for one of our Business client
Description: As a Ping Directory Administrator, you will be responsible for the effective management, configuration, and optimization of the Ping Directory platform within the organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability, security, and performance of directory services, contributing to the overall identity and access management strategy. Key responsibility includes assisting our client with the upgrade from version 7.x to 9.x and 10.x. Also handle large replication topology for a global bank. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation and Configuration: • Deploy, install, and configure Ping Directory to meet organizational requirements. • Ensure proper integration with existing systems and applications. 2. Administration and Maintenance: • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. • Manage user accounts, access controls, and directory schema. • Upgrade directory and replication topology from v7.x to 10.x 3. Security Management: • Implement and enforce security policies related to directory services. • Conduct regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly. 4. Performance Optimization: • Monitor and optimize the performance of Ping Directory to meet established service level agreements. • Collaborate with other IT teams to address performance bottlenecks. • Optimize directory for smoother operations 5. Integration and Migration: • Work on integrating Ping Directory with other identity and access management systems. • Plan and execute directory data migration projects as needed. 6. Collaboration: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, development, and infrastructure teams. • Provide technical expertise and guidance on identity management best practices. 7. Documentation: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures. • Develop and update disaster recovery plans related to directory services. 8. Training and Support: • Provide training to IT staff and end-users on directory-related processes. • Offer technical support and assistance to resolve issues promptly. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience as a Ping Directory Administrator or in a similar identity and access management role. • In-depth knowledge of Ping Directory, LDAP, and related protocols. • In-depth knowledge of directory replication • In-depth knowledge of Ping Data Sync engine and sync policies • Familiarity with security best practices and protocols in identity management. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Preferred Skills: • Ping Directory 9.x Certification is a plus. • Experience with directory services in cloud environments. • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python). • Familiarity with other identity management solutions.
