As a Portfolio & Client reporting analyst – Assistant Manager:
Responsibilities:-
- Construct and maintain account plans (DB, DC, Endowment & Foundations) collectively with OCIO Strategists and Client Relationship Managers
- Attend client calls and/or meetings to understand client requirements (as required).
- Prepare presentations and attend all Client Panels and Investment Panels related to book of business managed.
- Client Onboarding (Note: You will work in conjunction with the new implementation team on this)
- Execute client Investment Management Agreement/Investment Policy Amendments (Strategic Asset Allocations/ Glide paths) (Note: You will need to coordinate with OCIO Executive and Legal) and ensure the reporting systems are updated with the new allocations.
- Client Reporting:
- Performance validation & reporting – Net Performance, Gross Performance, Relative return, Performance attribution
- Asset Allocation and attribution validation
- Statement of assets and changes
- Risk analysis (Note: work with Risk organization)
- Client commentary (Note: in partnership with OCIO Executive)
- Market commentary (Note: in partnership with Investment/ Markets team)
- Liability Analysis/ commentary (Note: in partnership with Strategy team)
- Liaise with internal & external administrators on trade & NAV validations.
- Account Openings > SSGA/ Custody/ Performance.
- Trade/Implementation Support:
- Client Audit Support – work with client auditors to deliver information on client portfolios.
- Validate the Client Investment Management, Custody & other invoices working with internal & stakeholders.
- Client Prospect Support (As required)
- Reviewing 10Ks; 5500s; other publicly available data
- Assist in maintaining Salesforce with updated information (e.g. next steps; key information/ contacts)
Requirements:-
- A graduate with over 6+ years of experience in portfolio performance calculations, performance attribution, NAV validations, and client reporting.
- Good communication skills – capable to conversate with onshore clients and stakeholders over a call on a regular basis – prior experience is preferred.
- A good understanding of Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Endowments and Foundation businesses and portfolios.
- A good understanding of financial markets and various asset classes including Equity, Fixed income, & Alternative assets.
- CIPM, CFA or FRM qualified candidate or progress towards those qualifications is preferred.
