PH.D. APPLICATION FOR JANUARY 2024 SESSION
I'm pleased to announce an invitation for application to pursue Ph.D. under my supervision at Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) at Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG).
I'm seeking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a passion for cutting-edge research in the field of Low Power VLSI Design and/or Semiconductor Memory Design.
Research Focus / Interest
§ Low Power VLSI Design
§ CMOS & Dynamic Digital Circuits
§ Semiconductor Memories (Volatile & Non-Volatile)
§ Low Power Content Addressable Memory (CAM)
§ Associative Array/Storage/Memory Design
§ In-Memory Computing (IMC)
Admission Criteria (Any one of the following)
§ Master's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks
OR
§ M.Sc. (Electronics) or Equivalent Non-Tech Master's Degrees in the relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks having a GATE/NET/SLET score in ECE/EE/IN/CS/BM
OR
§ Four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Medical Sciences or equivalent in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.0 or 65% of marks
Preferred Relevant Area of Engineering/Technology/Science
§ Electronics or Electronics Science
§ Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
§ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE)
§ VLSI Design
§ VLSI and/or Microelectronics
§ Analog Design and/or Digital Design and/or Mixed Signal Design
§ Computer Science and Engineering (CSE / CS)
§ Electrical Engineering (EE)
§ Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
§ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
Instrumentation Engineering (IE / IN)
§ Supported by Institute fellowship
§ Engage in high quality research projects
§ Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in VLSI design
