8-10 payroll team

members. Establishes policies and processes that ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions. Interfaces between finance and human resource departments to provide accurate and useful information. Develops and produces payroll-related statistical reports. Ensures accurate and on-time governmental reporting and compliance. Oversees the activities and training of both professionals and support staff. Directs the resolution of complex issues or errors.

Job Description · Should be having relevant experience of

payroll

processes for North American, Latin American and European regions. Expert in managing the end-to-end global payroll process and has a high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts · Strong international payroll knowledge with responsibility for multiple countries in

Europe, US and LATAM · Manage relationships with external Payroll vendors, HRIS, and other benefit providers · Experience Managing multiple direct reports · Ensure an accurate and timely Monthly and Semi-weekly payroll, including but not limited to: base pay, equity compensation, payroll taxes, statutory and supplemental benefits, etc. · Own month-end close, quarter-end and year-end processes for Americas entities including reviewing/approving journal entries, account reconciliations and excellent communication skills · Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy, and employment regulations as they relate to reporting, in countries where this business operates · Basic understanding of accounting principles, the ability to understand the impact of payroll activity on financial statements, and the ability to partner with the Finance team to resolve issues as they arise · Good up to date knowledge and understanding of in region benefits legislation · Advanced Excel skills to be able to create and apply relevant principals to support required payroll reporting · Understanding of the requirements of IRS and GDPR when handling data · Payroll project management experience, for example, post-acquisition standardization, payroll vendor changes · Experience of working for a multinational would be a significant advantage · Experience of line management of an international team would be an advantage · Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of Payroll payments · Organized and ability to manage multiple deadlines · Confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels · Strong client service mentality; ability to develop strong working relationships

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or Information Systems. ·

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

certification preferred. · Minimum of eight years of experience in Payroll or General Accounting in a supervisory/management role. · Previous experience managing labor time reporting. · Knowledge and understanding of multi-state tax (US Payroll) requirements. · In depth experience with large scale projects, system enhancements and implementations, and employee conversions as a result of mergers and acquisitions · Understanding of payroll law, PTO accruals, tax issues, employee benefit programs and leaves of absence. · Ability to work effectively under pressure, independently and within a collaborative team-orientated environment using sound judgment in decision-making. · Detail-oriented, analytical and able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment. · Perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while maintaining high quality standards and excellent customer service. · Capable of discretely handling confidential information. · Advanced experience with ADP WorkforceNow, Streamline and Celergo product. · Management experience of payroll team is a must · Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
